Julia Jacquette
Julia Jacquette (born 1964) is an American artist primarily based in New York and Amsterdam.〔(Julia Jacquette ) in the RKD〕 Jacquette studied at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY (1986) and Hunter College in New York (1989–92).
Jacquette's work, which is influenced by food and drink ads, has been shown widely at galleries and museums around the world including Holly Solomon Gallery in New York, David Klein Gallery in Birmingham, MI, the MoMA in New York, and Galerie Oliver Schweden in Munich, Germany.〔(Interview with Jacquette ) by writer Joan Wickersham〕 Her work is featured in several prestigious collections including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the Rhode Island School of Design Museum in Providence, RI, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, Australia and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.〔(Julia Jacquette ) official website〕
